@raziesgirl : Sorry about that, here we go.
@raziesgirl : Oh wow, what a passionate response, I LOVE IT.
But, I'll point out a few things. I don't know if there was misreading, or if I wasn't clear enough, but I'll clear some stuff up for you anyway. Just so you better understand the characters.
First, Eames has no idea how Ghost feels. Very, VERY honestly, he believes that Ghost sees him as a caretaker and more of an older brother than anything else. He may recognize the signs, but because he's SO in love with Ghost, he convinces himself that he's only seeing what he wants to see. Since, we all know that happens a lot of the time with people in general. So, he's choosing to not assume anything, and trying to curb his desires. That's explained first in the inner monologue in chapter one on his way home- and further illustrated in the chapters following.
Eames also has slept with MANY men. Though, he didn't do it because he felt that he missed any chances- he did it because he needs to feel satisfied, and he doesn't want to take any risks around Ghost. He does it mainly out of pure emotion. This is discussed verbally in chapter 7 I believe, and most of it is implied or actually stated.
Eames made Ghost feel that being gay was bad- yes. He did it because he didn't want the other boys to make fun of him, as they used to tease Ghost about being gay, so Eames was like ''shut up, no he's not". This is said(not in so many words) in chapter one, and then somewhere else I'm sure.
A lot of this is about misunderstandings between the two, since neither of them is being honest with the other. Ghost won't tell Eames how he feels, so Eames is assuming that he doesn't feel anything like that at all. He doesn't want to force anything on Ghost, and he doesn't want to lose what he DOES have.
Robyn is VERY MUCH a wolf and he's taking advantage of the situation in anyway that he possibly can. I'm really glad you pointed that out, because he BLATANTLY lies to everyone's face to get what he wants, and we the readers see it. Hector is actually the only character that hears both sides, and that will come about later- but for now, we just know that he's present when Robyn admits to knowing first about Eames' feelings, then saying aloud(when Eames isn't there) that Ghost's love is unrequited. That's chapter three, and the inconsistencies continue afterwards.
So. Anyway, sorry about my rant. That's what I hope will clear anything up and I apologize for anything that wasn't clear. Thank you for reading, and hopefully enjoying, and I appreciate the long and seemingly passionate comment. Very fun to read ^^ ~
that guy is good
Playing on both of there insecurity's but I blame both ghost and eames eames cause he knew that ghost loved him and instead of going for it and making ghost his .He goes and have sex with not one but two guys .But he did think that ghost was already seeing Robyn and that he missed his chance to be with ghost .Then we have ghost who is understandably upset eames made it seem that being gay was something to be ashamed of when he was gay himself and the reason he made ghost feel that way was in my opinion weak .misunderstanding 's and hurt feelings got both of these guys acting stupid .And with that wolf Robyn just waiting to take advantage what I think will happen is either ghost gives in and have sex with Robyn or Robyn becomes so frustrated with ghost with his back and forth that he takes what he wants and keep taking what he wants until these two get it together and realize that they are made for each other .
