ugh, that's terrible :( trying to cope or escape doesn't mean you're not still feeling terrible in the first place!
i'm lucky enough that this weekend when i was feeling really 'meh' my mom actually TOLD me to go draw or something so i could feel good about myself. it helped. i hope your drawing does help you too, or you have a way to make it easier on yourself. i know it's hard to want to pull yourself back up when your mood's down, at least for me. i tend to want to stay sad once i get into a low. but being happy is better and healthier in the end. you hang in there *hugs*
